We live in a world in which violence is normalised. This violence goes unnoticed for the most part, although this is gradually changing. This change is greatly driven by activists demanding that the rest of our society listens and acts. To normalise activism would be to create activists on a scale unseen in our world. The impact this can have in upheaving the violent norms of the present could be monumental and perhaps vital in creating a society of people who all take responsibility for their actions whilst being guided by systems that encourage actions based upon the best aspects of our nature. A large part of the work we are doing is with this idea in mind. What do you think? Do you want to help normalise activism?

Make My Pancreas Great Again. Something I can get on board with. • • Honestly I don’t have high hopes for there ever to be a cure for T1D in the near future. So my next best hope would be for #insulin4all this would mean affordable and accessible insulin for Diabetics who are insulin dependent. • • My main goal when I wear any T1D merchandise is for it to draw attention to the problem. Have a random stranger read it, probably throw some judgement at first but then hopefully ask a question which sparks a conversation where I can shed some knowledge, education, and light on the problem at hand. • • Shirt is from @ihavethesugars and a portion of the proceeds from MMPGA merchandise goes directly to @t 1international which is a non profit that focuses on Access to affordable insulin.

You can't take care of the ones you love until you take care of yourself. That's one of the reasons I started my journey. I needed to improve my health and wellness so I could give more to my family, especially my kids. I knew I needed to change and no one was going to do it for me. I feel healthier now and have more energy now than I ever had. And this is only the beginning for me. The passion that I have now is unstoppable. I want to help YOU feel as amazing as I do. Make yourself a priority. Happy Sunday! 🤗 #selfworth #motivation #youdoyou #changinglives #sayyes #inspire #liveyourbestlife #priorities #health #healthylifestyle #nutrition #supplements #supplementsarenotdietpills
Many times, there may be an idea you want to explore, but your self-limiting beliefs about what’s possible prevent you from taking action. . ▪️”It’s not in my genetics.” ▪️”I’m too old for that.” ▪️”She’d never be interested in me.” . That discomfort, fear, or uncertainty paralyzes you. That’s the point where you start listening to the doubts of yourself and others – and the voice in your head becomes a breeding ground for negativity. If you feel uncomfortable, then you’re ultimately doing something right, but toe dipping outside of your safe space never really gets things moving. You need to dive in head-on and fully immerse yourself. Commit 100% to your discomfort. That might be more stressful, but there’s no better way to get the process going so you move beyond that one thing holding you back. I’ve seen this show up in my own life. When I moved to NYC to pursue a career in online fitness consulting, it was a major leap of faith. I quit my career in logistics with a steady salary, tapped into my 401K, uprooted the life of my daughter and pets, held my breath, and made the jump to be closer to my business mentors. And then, after surrounding myself with those who wanted to help me succeed, working my ass off by creating daily content, staying true to my message (often an unpopular one), and providing my clients with the best coaching experience available, I was able to grow a six figure business in under 18 months. This isn’t to brag. This is to demonstrate what’s possible when you stop allowing your fears and self-limiting beliefs to control your destiny. Life isn’t happening to you. You are an active participant. The biggest rewards happen outside of your comfort zone. Mark Zuckerberg once said, “The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that’s changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking any risks.”
The best savoury breakfast there is💚 Toast with avocado and a poached egg! I've been so drained the past 2 weeks so I have been trying to eat healthily to fuel my body and get more energy, I really notice how sugar makes me feel tired and sluggish. Will also be cooking another batch of black bean brownies to have something sweet to snack on that is still healthy!
